Little Ruler Birthday Party

December 24th, 2015 in Parties

I always look up what the meaning of names are when I am picking them out for kids. They never sway me away or to picking a name. Sometimes I forget what they mean till we get talking about it and I look it up again. We looked up Reagan’s name and I was reminded that it means “Little Ruler” which fits her personality so perfectly. She requested a pink party but when I read once again what her name meant…I had a vision for a party!

It needed to include a very frilly pink dress and a gold throne. That is all I was sure of.

Party Activities:

We did one craft with glue, diamonds, and a piece of foam paper. I cut a hole in the middle for their face to fit through and they made a diamond crown over it. We also did a relay race where they had to put on a princess dress, put on a crown, pick up a wand and say something, then hug a teddy bear. I think we did some freeze dancing, Princess Says, follow the leader. You know anything were Reagan could be in charge and BOSS BOSS BOSS!

I spray painted that chair gold, it was from Ikea. All the party favors you can find on amazon. I bought that fabric from JoAnns and hung it from the ceiling. The letters are from Hobby Lobby and I also spray painted those gold.
