Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 in Crafts

Three lovely ladies thought of a fun idea, Christmas in July! Where one of them would share sewing tutorials, the other craft tutorials and the last one food tutorials based on holiday ideas. They all have different fun guest bloggers posting a different idea on each blog in July.

Barbie Bed How To

Friday, July 23rd, 2010 in Crafts

My mom sometimes comes over to the house with a craft planned.  A while ago, it was a bag full of things to make a Barbie bed. Here is a great Barbie bed “How-To” from my mother to you.  And it could always be a bed for Woody or a beloved bear, not just girlie Barbies!

Neighborhood Art Group

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 in Crafts

We did another art group last week.  It was messy but fun! And I am a bit bummed that I didn’t get good pictures of the end product or the mixing of paint…what can I say? I was busy!

Polymer Clay
Stamps
Ink
Leather “String”
Kabob Stick
Directions:

1. Read the directions on the back of your Polymer Clay package and follow to form different shapes.

2. Take your stamp and [...]

Homemade Sidewalk Chalk

Thursday, April 29th, 2010 in Crafts

So this is something I would NOT do every single time we ran out of sidewalk chalk BUT it was a really fun–very hard to mess up–the kids loved it craft.
This “recipe” makes two large sidewalk chalks.
