Sure. Obviously this book would be perfect for Thanksgiving, but it is not centered around that holiday at all. An Awesome Book of Thanks, by Dallas Clayton is perfect all year round.
There are many reasons the girls and I loved this book:
#1 It doesn’t talk religion. Hear me out! I just think you can teach children to be thankful without bringing religion into it. But my husband and I DO bring religion to the subject of gratitude on other occasions…most other occasions. I like this book because it is universal and would appeal to all religions or even no religion at all.
#2 The book, An Awesome Book of Thanks, by Dallas Clayton shows children they can be thankful for normal day to day things, imaginative things, things that are only personal to them, silly things, nature, kites, family and everything under the sun.
#3 It reads and is illustrated towards CHILDREN so most importantly *they* love it and it speaks to them.
