SassyScoops.com is the other site I run. Every week we promote a local Utah business. Yogurtland in Orem just opened up their doors and we went in with our kids for a review. Red Iguana. You have to try it if you live or visit Utah. It is a rule. The lines are always long, customer service is sometimes not so hot, but the food…those Killer Nachos. Oh, it is worth it. But you can read what everyone else thought here.
Let’s Make Music! are kid’s music classes in the Salt Lake County area. My girls took a whole set of them about a year and half ago. Boy, are they fun and a good time for you to get down and play with your kids. Would the other Sassies sign their kids up though? Read all their opinions along with mine here.
Salt Lake Acting Company I have featured them on my blog before because every year they do a children’s play. This year it was If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and it was TOP NOTCH. But what about their plays for adults the rest of the year? The Sassies went and saw one and were very split in their feedback. Read the review here.
I have missed most of the other reviews for the past month due to…you know, having a hard time even walking to the library behind my house. So you can catch up on reading them along with me. That way we both can know if we want to check it out or not!
Blickenstaffs is this huge old-school, retro toy & candy shop in Provo that I was just so sad to miss. I am pretty sure it would have been right up my alley. Utah Kernels is a gourmet popcorn shop. They hand-make all 21 of their flavors. When my husband and I were first married we actually were in walking distance of this place. It’s in Orem, Utah. And YES, they are hosting an amazing giveaway too. Enter it just by commenting on this post.
Shaybees is a boutique in Springville that I think my mom and sisters would love to check out. They have great “Make and Take Nights” where you can come in with your girlfriends and work on a project. I HEAR their fudge is amazing and the owners are great.
