Why I love him

While reading poems by Shel Silverstein this morning…I found a gem that did not stick out to me before…

LISTEN TO THE MUSTN’TS by Shel

Listen to the MUSTN’TS, child,

Listen to the DON’TS

Listen to the SHOULDN’TS

The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON’TS

Listen to the NEVER HAVES

Then listen close to me –

Anything can happen, child,

ANYTHING can be.

It reminded me of my husband, this is why I love him, this is who he is, what he believes and my girls are incredibly lucky to have him.
