Wednesday: Mid Week Ramblings—Teaching Your Child of their Individual Worth

This goes along with last week’s Wednesday Mid Week Rambling of making your child feel special.

Here is a great simple activity to do with your children to teach them of their individual worth/helping them to feel special.

First trace an outline of your child’s silhouette or trace their whole body onto some butcher paper or even just trace their hands.

Then simply list somewhere on the drawing the wonderful qualities, talents, etc. your child has. You can be careful not to label and still make your child feel special and unique.

I actually paid someone in Disneyland to do this of my daughter! Turned out SUPER cool, and it was one of the cheapest things to do there. It cost $7 for two outlines matted on a Disneyland paper.
