Monday: Weekly Family Activity—Presidential Inauguration

January 19th, 2009 in Monday: Weekly Family Activity

Will you be watching the presidential inauguration? Recording it to watch with your children that night? Here is a fantastic article on Your at-Home Guide to the Presidential Inauguration. You can also watch the “Kids’ Inaugural:  We Are The Future” concert. It will be broadcast from 8:00 - 9:30 p.m. ET/PT January 19th on The Disney Channel, be simulcast on Radio Disney and streamed on Disney.com immediately following the telecast.

Message from Our President:

“I’m asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington…I’m asking you to believe in yours.”

Did you know that our President has a blog? Check it out here.

Even though I could tell he was reading a teleprompter, I really enjoyed that message from the president. I’m going to usaservice.org right now!

I love your patriotism. Wonderful to teach your girls even as they are so young to be interested in our country and to have pride in our country.

Excellent post. I love how “succinct” you are and the corresponding photos are fantastic.

I am looking expectantly into the future…with hopeful optimism.
