Valentine’s Day Photo Cards

January 11th, 2011 in Crafts, party time

I know Valentine’s Day is a while away…but listen, it is freezing cold and I have cabin fever. And we needed to do something to take our minds off being stuck inside way too much. I saw this idea about three years ago and it has been on my to-do list since then. I wish I could remember where I first saw the idea similar to this. Let me know if it was you!

Valentine’s Day Photo Cards

Supplies:

3 Foam Boards

Card stock to cut out the words

Craft knife for cutting

Glue

Decor, anything from paper doilies to glitter or stickers

Camera and Photos

Card stock

Envelopes

Directions:

1. Cut out the I LOVE YOU! letters for the poster board. Attach to the boards.

2. Let your kids decorate them the way *THEY* would like.

3. Take pictures of your kids behind the boards. I think it’s cute with their cute heads sticking out.

4. Cut a piece of the bigger square card stock in half (length wise) and fold like an accordion. Then glue in pictures and put in envelope.

The photo printers did something weird with the pictures and cut off my girls’ heads…so we are going to re-print those photos and then send them out!

Such a fun idea for Valentine’s Day photo cards. Doing this today helped beat our cabin fever!
