Tyler’s Marinara Sauce

December 10th, 2012 in recipes

We got this system down-Tyler and I-splitting up the household to-do’s. He swears that he cooks and does the dishes more than I do, which is kind of true. So I ask him if he spends almost four hours a day feeding a baby. But there are a few main things we make every week to save money and fill us up. Huge batch of fresh salsa, 3 loaves of bread, fresh pasta, fruit for smoothies, pot of beans, and marinara sauce.

The marinara sauce is just so easy and it gets used in three different dishes during the week. Pasta, pizza, and as a sauce to go in tortillas. You know what it would be good on the side of scrambled eggs even, this stuff is versatile!

Tyler makes it every single week and this is how easy it is:

Tyler’s Marinara Sauce
