Tuesday’s Everyday Beauty

November 3rd, 2009 in Beauty in Everyday

What is your escape? Your “Pure Bliss.”  Somewhere you run to where you know, without fail, you will have the time of your life.

My two year old’s special place is her older sister’s bed. To just lie in it or, even better, to find her sister’s hidden (hidden from HER) Polly Pockets and play with them while giggling.

My oldest watches Word Girl every afternoon at 3:30pm and my two year old? Runs at lightning speed to her older sister’s room to sneak in and escape to pure bliss.

And I won’t tattle.  My oldest doesn’t even notice (well she IS watching Word Girl, after all) and I just love it.

Everyone needs to escape to their Pure Bliss to keep sane. Being a 2 year old is kinda tough, didn’t you know?

I need to find that place. The only place that I go right now is “my” couch and lay down. Sometimes I let Van crawl in, but mostly I just like finding the biggest blanket and being by myself.
