I have a rule, anytime I see the name Alison Jay on a children’s book I buy it or check it out.

Alison Jay could be my favorite children’s book illustrator of all time. Her illustrations are amazing….so old fashioned, homemade, fairy tale land feel. I cannot get enough of them.

When she does pair up with an author, it has always been an amazing match, be sure to add her books to your child’s library:
