Sunday:Entertainment Review—Olivia

March 8th, 2009 in Sunday: Entertainment Review

Olivia is the new show on Nick Jr. based off the books by Ian Falconer and it gets two thumbs up from my family. One of the things I love most about having children is watching their imaginations, creativity and love for play. Olivia really celebrates and promotes that as a character. Her spunky, bold, courageousness and self-confidence is contagious. You see her work through the frustration of the distance between what she wants to do and what she is allowed to do. We love all the other characters in the show, from the spaghetti loving little brother to Olivia’s “frienemie” next door Francine.

Have you had a chance to catch the show yet, what did you and your child think of it?
