The Elephant and Piggie books are perfect for your little ones learning how to read. They are done in comic-book style and feature two main characters Piggie the Pig (the optimistic one) and Gerald the Elephant (the pessimistic one).
You know what I love about these books the most? They are witty and original tales written to stimulate and encourage young imaginations. The books really do capture your child’s attention; there are so many different elements that are spot on and cater towards my girls’ personalities and imaginations.

These books would be nice i have 3 girls and my 2 youngest are starting kind and the other first grade and they love to be read to these would be really nice they look really cute

Oh my gosh…if I win, do I HAVE to share with the children?! (Can’t I just put them aside to remind myself in future years how wonderful but fleeting the early-reading years are?) I LOVE Mo Willems books! And there is probably no other character I love more than the Pigeon! I’m sure the elephant & piggie books would be loved as much! …and okay….I’ll share!
