Stained Glass Gingerbread Cookies

December 21st, 2010 in party time, recipes

Alright, so I know you are all clever and probably have been doing this for years! But this is the first year we have tried using Jolly Ranchers to make Stained Glass Gingerbread Cookies and they turned out super cute.

Simple to do. Crush the Jolly Ranchers. Cut holes into your gingerbread cookies where you want the stained glass to go and sprinkle in the crushed Jolly Ranchers. Bake like normal. Let sit. Give the gingerbread cookies faces and hair with frosting and hang up on tree!

Who knew Stained Glass Gingerbread Cookies were so easy to do? They do look pretty with the Christmas tree lights shining behind them.
