Pardon me, my non Utah friends. I am only going to do a SassyScoops Recap once a month. Sassy Scoops is my other site that I run with some fabulous ladies where we review & feature a different local company every month.

Over at SassyScoops.com we went on a nice long holiday break and came back in January starting off with some “Secret Shopper” posts. Sure, we do get pretty nice treatment when we go into the companies to do the reviews. But then some of us go back to show off the place to our friends or family and…the experience is not the same. Or the experience is spot on and we become loyal customers. You’ll have to see what happened to me at TCBY in Sugar House in this post and then read about the place that my husband is now addicted to since we reviewed it in this post.

Our first two “official” reviews for the year were:

Wabi Sabi Japanese Fusion & Sushi in South Jordan Utah. YES! My first time having sushi (Don’t worry. I picked sushi that is safe for pregnancy.) and you’ll have to see what we thought of the place. Swirly Girls Bakery is a new bakery that opened up about 5 minutes from my house. I…I hope I was not too harsh in my review. I loved the atmosphere, the location, the owners AND a couple of their items. But I am hoping they tweak their other recipes so it can become a fun go-to place for us. You’ll have to see what I am talking about by reading our official review and see what I had to say. You can find that here.

In our upcoming reviews we will be featuring Red Iguana in Salt Lake, the Salt Lake Acting Company and will be hosting a very special contest. Be sure to stay tuned by reading the site!
