Necklaces for Dolly & You

June 16th, 2009 in Crafts

After using some polymer clay for our Tic Tac Toe board we made last week we found we had quite a bit leftover, so today we decided to make some necklaces for ourselves and our bedtime buddies.

Just mold the clay into any shapes you want for your necklaces; make sure to make them wide and large enough to put a hole through.

When done spread out your beads/shapes on a skewer so they’re ready to cook. Follow the directions on your polymer clay for the temperature and duration you need to cook them.

Remove from skewers and let them cool.

Thread onto yarn and adorn yourself and a loved one!

These are adorable, I may just get some of that clay and let my daycare kiddos make some things like that. We did it before with some clay we made and it dried out and cracked then we had to paint them. This looks much prettier.
