Monday’s Maven

The other day a blogger and I were talking about what our favorite blogs are to read and more in detail what our favorite types of posts are to read. I started talking about how I love when Design Mom, Petit Elefant or Tangled and True introduces their new “guest mom” and we get to read a little more about them. And when Katydid and Kid features a new blog and blogger every week, those are my favorite posts of hers.

Then suddenly it hit me…if these are my favorites posts to read why don’t I do it myself? So I came up with a name and a day and we’ll be doing it every week!

Monday: Because we all know we need inspiration or a good laugh or something fun to do on blah Mondays.

Maven: A maven is a trusted expert in a particular field, who seeks to pass knowledge on to others. The word maven comes from the Hebrew, via Yiddish, and means one who understands, based on an accumulation of knowledge. So I plan on spotlighting a beautiful mother (or grandmother or godmother or aunt) maven every week.

What could be more perfect?

So I am thrilled to annouce Monday’s Maven!!! Every week I will be profiling a different mother and I cannot wait. Stay tuned!
