One Word that Describes You: Sincere

What makes you smile? Great friends having fabulous conversation around a table of tasty food.

What is one of your dreams you hope to accomplish soon? If I could teach myself to eat one hot cookie fresh from the oven, instead of 7….it would be nothing short of a miracle.

One of Your favorite motherhood moments? Watching my kids love and look out for each other.

What is your guilty pleasure? Dryer’s Pumpkin Ice Cream. Oh my heavens. It is fabulous!

What do you love most about you? I love that for some unknown reason I was blessed to marry the most fabulous man on the planet.

Favorite Holiday? My favorite holiday would have to be Thanksgiving. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas, too. But Thanksgiving is all about fabulous food and spending time with family. You don’t have to worry about running all over town trying to make everyone’s dreams come true with the latest and the greatest gadgets. Thanksgiving is a lot more peaceful and pleasant.

Who is your hero? Corry TenBoom author of The Hiding Place

Tip For Moms Cooking on a Budget: My best advice to Moms who want to feed big busy families on a budget is this. Learn how to bake. You don’t even have to bake from scratch to make it cost effective! I am definitely addicted to cake mixes. There are 20 in my food storage as we speak. The possibilities are endless, really. Learning to bake from scratch is also wonderful. Baking bread, rolls, muffins, pizza dough, etc. can save you so much money. It’s a lot easier than you think! EVERYONE can learn to be a good cook. It just takes a bit of time and instruction.

I just found Jamie’s blog and was thrilled to see she is my neighbor here in Herriman, we are going to lunch soon, can’t wait! Be sure to browse around her food blog…Mmmm Mmmmm.
