kids: I have three boys! a 5 year old, a 3 year old and a seven month-old baby. I can tell you one thing — there’s never a dull moment around here.

One Word that Describes You: Kind. I like being a nice person and I love nice people back.

What makes you smile? The things my kids say. My garden. Witty people.

What is one of your dreams you hope to accomplish soon? To get 10 hours of sleep for seven straight days! Sounds crazy, but I have a teething baby, so sleep is basically my holy grail right now.

One of Your favorite motherhood moments? Giving birth: All three of my deliveries have been the most exciting days of my life. I’ve never felt so powerful as I did after delivering my sons. The recovery period is another story, but the euphoria after giving birth is pretty much just awesome.

What is your guilty pleasure? Eating Nutella right out of the jar.

What do you love most about you? I like that I tend to have a positive attitude. I truly believe anything can be achieved if you work hard enough.

Favorite Place? My husband is from Europe, so we’re fortunate enough to travel there regularly. Italy is my favorite country to visit, and Rome is my favorite city in the whole world. I just love the stylish locals, the crazy traffic, the history, and of course — the food!

Who is your hero? My mom. She continues to sacrifice so much for her children; her grandchildren adore her. She’s funny. And she can make gourmet meals out of a half-empty fridge! She’s amazing.

Your advice to other moms to Make EVERY Day a Treat? I like to say that “Beauty is in the Details” — enjoying the little things makes life much more enjoyable, I find. Wear your “nice” clothes, even if you’re just taking the kids to the library. Really pay attention when you talk to someone. Send Thank You notes. And use the good china, even if you’re just having a grilled cheese sandwich!
