 Kids:   I have 8 wonderful, talented  kids ranging in age from 34 to 18.  Along with having my own kids, I also have 9 beautiful grandchildren!  I know all grandmothers say their grandkids are beautiful but mine REALLY are!

 One Word that Describes You:  Family-oriented

What makes you smile?  My family, good food, music, chocolate, flowers, the smell of sunshine on my grandkid’s hair, a clean kitchen, and my husband asking me out to dinner.

 What is one of your dreams you hope to accomplish soon?

 Besides being the best mom and grandma, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I was married at 19, worked to put my husband through school, had children and didn’t go back to get my degree. I’m able to work in special ed as a tech and I love it!

 What is your guilty pleasure? Peanut M&Ms, chocolate milk, making up songs and singing them until someone tells me to be quiet, reading and blogging.

 What do you love most about you?  My ability to look on the bright side of things.

 Favorite Holiday? My favorite holiday has always been Christmas until I realized that I was the one who had to play Santa Claus. (Oh, the pressure)

Who is your hero? My hero is my mother.  She has been a great example of love, devotion, and tolerance.

 Your advice to other moms: Choose your battles. Decide what’s important and stick to it.  Enjoy each moment with your little ones – it goes WAY too fast!
