Monday: Weekly Family Activity—Vision Boards

December 29th, 2008 in Monday: Weekly Family Activity, Crafts

My husband had us do “vision boards” with him this past week. For a quick explanation they are a visual way to display your goals, something you can see every day and want to work on daily.

This was a great family activity to do in preparation for New Years! What a fun way to display your New Years Resolutions.

All you need is:

  • A good variety of magazines that you can use to cut pictures, words, letters or phrases out of.
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Poster Board

After we gave my three year old an example of what we wanted to put on our vision board she went through magazines and decided what she wanted her goals to be. I thought it was pretty cute so I had to share: really good leaf pile jumper, jump rope queen, baseball player and to be a painter. So this next year we are going to try our best and help her accomplish her pretty fun goals!
