Monday: Weekly Family Activity—Kids in the Garden
I have failed many years in a row at doing a garden. This year I decided to do a very basic herb garden and so far so good 🙂 I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Gardening with kids is an excelled way to share quality time with them, teach them some basic botany, and instill in them respect for the environment.
I really do believe that when children help with cooking and even GARDENING, they are more likely to eat the things they help prepare.
My daughter had a blast doing this and the other one just enjoyed the fresh air!
By the way, don’t you LOVE this pot, I found it at Rod Works in Lehi, Utah.
And I purchased the herbs from Boonie’s Plants where they use Biodegradable Peatpots and all recyclable material.
