Full Name: Linda

blog:

Location: I live in the beautiful west.

Kids: I have six awesome kids, five sons and one daughter.  I have sixteen fantastic grandchildren.

One Word that Describes You: One word that describes me is, “indescribable”.

What makes you smile? Family brings more joy to my heart and more smiles to my face.

What is one of your dreams you hope to accomplish soon? My dream is to become a published author.  Not for the money but, because that is probably the only way I will really believe my writing is any good; when someone pays money for it.

One of Your favorite moments as a mother?

My favorite moments as a mother is when I see one of my sons walking along holding the hand of his small son, or when I see another son patiently showing his boy how to use a screw driver, or watching one of my children read to their child, or a son with a grin from ear to ear as his daughter twirls in her pretty dress, or my daughter introducing her daughter to something beautiful in this world.   Those are my favorite moments.

What is your guilty pleasure?

My guilty pleasure is anything with chocolate and almonds mixed together.  Throw in some caramel and I will follow you anywhere.

What do you love most about you? What I love most about me is that I try hard to be the best ‘me’ I know how.

Favorite Holiday? My favorite way to holiday is with family. The beach is one the best places to go but here is my formula. Anywhere + any of the family = fantastic fun.

Who is your hero? Women who are kind, compassionate and comfortable in their own skins are my heroes.

Your advice to other moms: To be a mom is all consuming and all rewarding but it is worth the time, backaches, headaches, heartaches and marked up walls.

Linda is my Mother in law, I told her since she is now an official blogger she needed to be a Monday Maven. And what a wonderful one she is! Love you Mom!

She really is the best. And she does try hard to be the best “me” she can be. (“Me” as in her.) Once I grew up and got out of my self absorbed teenage stage, I noticed how hard she works to improve herself- creatively, spiritually, physically, all that. She’s never standing still.

Linda is MY sister-in-law, but more than that she is a dear friend & terrific example of how to love & serve others. Besides that she is a crazy fun & witty person that many don’t get to experience – I love that she shares that with me.
