Monday’s Maven

Full Name: Elaine Hearn

blog:

Location: California….soon Los Angeles will be our home.

One Word that Describes You: Determined…because when I make up my mind I am set on it!

What makes you smile? Good cake, my husband, babies, and when I see random acts of kindness….in that order.

What is one of your dreams you hope to accomplish soon? I want to be a mom! My hormones are going crazy. Somebody give me a baby!

One of Your favorite moments with your mother? When she used to chase me around the house. She never caught me…that’s how fast I am!

What is your guilty pleasure? Chocolate. Always.

What do you love most about you? I love that I’m willing to change to be better.

Favorite food? I love broccoli. I eat it every night.

Who is your hero? Right now, it’s working mothers because I don’t know how they juggle everything. They HAVE to have super powers.

Your top tips to other busy women that want to stay on to of fashion in their wardrobes?

My first tip is to purge your closets and give your clothes to me. (Just kidding.) A lot of us have closets bursting with clothes but we only wear about 10% of it. So take out the “junk” and keep the classics and basics that you keep going back to. It’ll make picking out your clothes in the morning a lot easier if you have less distractions in your closet.

I do enjoy a good side of steamed broccoli! I love Elaine’s advice to purge your closet. I always come back to the same things but have hard time getting rid of a few items just in case I might want to wear them!

So fun to get to know Elaine on a more “personal” level. I’ve been secretly stalking her blog because heaven knows I could always use some help! :) And she seems to know her stuff!

She’s very pretty…and I love those trouser jeans that she is wearing in the 3rd photo. Dressy, but casual…at the same time.

Great feature! Elaine is totally thrifty and creative with her personal style. Love how she paired the shade clothing skirt in the first photo with the gray top with flowers. I wear it so differently! http://bit.ly/6OnUnF
