What makes you smile? Watching my daughter dance, doing baking projects with her, fall weather
What is one of your dreams you hope to accomplish soon? I would like to publish a cookbook. I would like to successfully transition my daughter into preschool this fall.
One of Your favorite motherhood moments? Almost everything! I really loved it the first time I left her with a babysitter and when I came home she jumped into my arms because she knew I had been gone.
What is your guilty pleasure? Ruffles Sour Cream & Onion potato chips
What do you love most about you? My ability to care for others, my ability to help people in need. I’ve worked hard on my listening skills and I think they are getting better.
Favorite Things? Holiday: Christmas, Travel: Italy Food:Mediterranean. Restaurant: Lupa in NYC!
Who is your hero? My Grandmother Pat, she faced a difficult childhood growing up without a mother and became a scientist and raised two great boys. One of whom is my Dad.
Your advice to other “Foodie” moms on how to still cook for a family without loosing the quality or taste: DON’T GIVE UP GOOD FOOD JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE KIDS. Use naptime or, more broadly, downtime to cook and prepare your favorite foods. You will enjoy it more and your family will be happier for it.
