You’re right about not needing to sell it. I’ve been longing for one of these for years.
At a rural yard sale in the 80’s, a mother (who has since passed away) bought her twenty-something daughter a metal Oster stand mixer, which made her daughter very very happy, since she was a baking fool. The daughter toted that mixer around from house to house throughout various moves over almost 20 years and used it and loved it more and more. Then disaster struck … during a move, the bottom of a box came undone while someone was carrying it up the stairs behind the daughter. She turned around to see the mixer go cartwheeling down the loooooonnngg flight of stairs, almost in slow motion, while her mouth opened in a not-so-silent “NOOOOOOOO!!!!!”. Pieces went flying as the mixer took HUGE bounces down the stairs, pieces which could never be mended, kind of like the daughter’s heart. At the funeral, numbed with grief, the daughter said, “I will miss you. There will never be another like you.” Since then, the daughter has owned two other stand mixers, none of which lived up to her old friend.
THIS mixer seems as though it would be worthy of taking that space in the daughter’s heart.
That daughter is me, and if I won, I would be totally over the moon!

Today is my 33rd birthday! I’ve always wanted a nice, stand mixer.
I would love that as would my 16 year old son he likes to bake when he is home.
Kitchen Aid is hands-down the best stand mixer available.
Sure, women drool over this sexy piece of kitchen equipment…but I am blessed with one heck of a super baker and I would love to see the look on his face if he got to unwrap this puppy. Every time we go to Target or JcP’s, or any store that carries these mixers I can always find him checking them out. I can see in his eyes the foods he is dreaming of making!

I am now a single mother of three beautiful angels. One of our favorite things to do as a family was to make things with our mixer. Anything ranging from sugar cookies, pie crusts, cakes to belgin waffles and much more. I feel safe in saying that our neighbors enjoyed it as well because it is always more fun to give the yummies away especially seeing the smiles on the faces of my angels and my neighbors. I recently had to move. The house was being remodled so a lot of things got stored in the garage. Which is a seperate building from the house. It was not so kindly proven to me that these mixers are more than just a hot item with me. It was stolen along with a few other things. I am living proof that the handheld mixers just can not stand up to the mixing that these mixers can. I would love to be able to make more memories with my angels in the kitchen this has always been our time to talk and be open with each other. It has been difficult with out our mixer.

I have always, always wanted a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. It looks like the perfect tool to have in the kitchen for cooking and baking (I do a lot of both of those things so I’d put this tool to work immediately…I think I’d start with Peanut Butter Cookies!).
I’m not a too many gadgets in the kitchen person. But I must say if you like to bake especially bread, the stand mixer is awesome. I was fortunate enough to get one as a gift for my 25th birthday. I love KitchenAid mixers. The best part is all the extra attachments you can get for it. I have a pretty good (not Kitchen Aid) mixer which I love too but I regret not having attachments sometimes…

I have wanted a kitchen-aie mixer for as long as I could remember. I just never could buy myself one, and no one would take a hint haha. Thanks.
I love to bake. Ever since I was old enough to know how to use the oven I would just bake and bake. Half the time the things I would bake wouldn’t get eaten by anyone at my house, but the idea of being able to mix so many things together into a bowl and adding some heat from an oven amazes me.
The kitchen sections at department stores have always been my favorite. Every visit consisted of a good ten minute pause in front of the Kitchen Aides. Even though I know that at the end of my ten minutes I would have to choose to pay for rent over buying my Kitchen Aide that I have dreamed about buying since I was started baking.
To me baking is a source of forgetting things that are happening around me and to remember the good things of the past; it simply relaxes me. The kitchen is definitely where I feel most comfortable at. It’s the place where no one will judge me for what I am wearing, how I react to certain things, or for the fact that my dream job is to open my own bakery even if it would have to sacrifice a University of California degree just to be able to do it. I love seeing the big smiles on my roommates’ faces when I hand then a cookie and them enjoying it just as much as I enjoyed baking them. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, like if butterflies were literally flying in my tummy.
I have the ambition and dedication to achieve all my goals. The only thing that is missing from my picture perfect dream is the Kitchen Aide that will assist me in all my baking masterpieces.

This Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer is fabulous! If I won I would give it to my Mom as she jsut has a hand mixer that doesn’t work well and she loves making cakes for all the kids and grandkids.

This mixer has it all and I’ve never had a big mixer, a stand mixer or any mixer with more than 3 speeds on it. I’ve been without a mixer now for about 9 yrs I sure do miss having one but have tried mixing by hand which isnt so good(beating batter for cakes and things is hard) to do when you have arthritic hands but ah well could be worse but to win this would help me out alot and my kitchen would sing it’s praises.

I have always wanted one of these mixers. But, of course, my husband does not want me spending that type of money on a ‘mixer’. My little mixer is on its last leg, but, the only way to get a kitchen aid is to win one, because, as much as it is a great mixer, I am not willing to go to jail for one.
All that stands between me and building a real gingerbread house is a mixer that could stand up to it.
Kitchen Aid makes the BEST mixer and I LOVE this color.

I am a bit of a Diva in the kitchen, actually both my husband and I are. It would be fantastic is we had this state of the art Kitchen Aid Mixer to use as a tool to create savory meals and dishes. I think we would make more of those recipes that involve a lot of mixing that we sometimes avoid right now because of the time and effort it takes us to mix by hand.
