We’re preparing for another fabulous Startup Princess event “Get Twitter-pated and Learn to Kirtsy” in UTAH, FEBRUARY 12th 7-9pm at sponsor, CoWork Utah, $15.
The evenin
g will be dedicated to learning and understanding social media (at all levels). We will have an overview of social media by Social Hat and then feature mini breakout sessions and then wrap up the evening with networking and delicious valentine’s refreshments sponsored by the hip and fresh Dough Girl.
“Hands On Kirtsy” representative, Liz Stanley (of the popular blog, “Say Yes to Hoboken“) will be there to introduce you to how you can get your blog posts some recognition on their social media site and also how to rate and rank other blog posts.
Two Twitter classes will be offered for beginners and advanced users. Twitter is a free social media microblogging site that allows you to connect with others in real time, immensely advantageous to business networking. These classes will be taught by Marie Lebaron of Make and Takes and Vanessa Brown of I Never Grew Up.

If I were going, I would totally attend one of those Twitter classes! I have a Twitter account, but I have to admit that it’s sorely neglected.
I’m planning to add a Twitter app to my iPhone soon though. Maybe that will help…
