Dear Mom,

Hey, guess what? I love you.

Thank you for putting up with my attitude problem that I have had since I turned 8.

Thank you for being the ultimate grandma. You are always excited to see the girls. You are always ready to play the day away with them. You make them feel loved and feel that you want to be with them. World’s Perfect Grandma? Yes! Also, you are married to the World’s Best Grandpa as well.

Thank you for always giving me encouragement when I need it the most.

Thank you for calling me when you are freaking out about something, because then I can call YOU when I am freaking out about something.

Thank you for not bossing me around or giving me advice all the time because you know I really, really can’t stand it. But thank you for giving me advice when you know I really, really need it.

Thanks for helping me through 27 hours of labor.

Thanks for being my partner in all the things WE want to know but we know our husbands would loathe.

Thanks for always answering when I call, reminding me of things over and over, cleaning when you come to my house, ignoring my moodiness and playing with the girls all the day long.

Thanks for putting up with ME. We both know I’m a hard one.

I am glad you are my best friend.
