Giveaway #73 Thanksgiving Point 4 Pack of Tickets
The national PBS kids show “Design Squad” is going to film at Thanksgiving Point’s Museum of Ancient Life (Dinosaur Museum) on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:30 a.m. It’s free and open to the public to watch the live taping, as well as meet the cast and host. If you want to enjoy the museum and the new “Magnets, Motors and the Mind” exhibit afterward, PBS is offering club members a two-for-one entrance that day with your membership card. Or if you can’t make it this day, you are welcome to check out the exhibit and museum before or after this event!

Thanksgiving Point opens its first national Exploratorium exhibition, “Motors, Magnets and the Mind” at the Museum of Ancient Life. It is made up of 12 individual exhibits on magnetism and perception. Hands-on activities include black sand, blind spots, magnetic waves, motor effects and other displays of science in action through September 2010.
“Motors, Magnets and the Mind” is such a wonderful exhibit. It engages children and adults in the areas of science, art and human perception. It’s full of wonderful hands-on educational displays, intended for people of all ages.
This exhibit and the ones to follow are giving us just a peek at Thanksgiving Point’s proposed Museum of Natural Curiosity children’s museum. The Museum of Natural Curiosity has planned 3,500 square feet of exhibit space to house Exploratorium exhibits and other special exhibits. The girls and I CANNOT WAIT for this to be open!!
