Giveaway #63 Isabell’s Umbrella
Random.org chose Janet, this giveaway is now CLOSED!
(Side note: Wow! This is giveaway #63! I think giveaway #100 needs to be crazy huge, what do you think?)
Isabell’s Umbrella is an Etsy shoppe I just adore and I am lucky enough to see her products in person at the Beehive Bazaar. What would be better than receiving one of these darling creations in the mail with a happy hello note? Sure, it could be a note to say thank you, feel better or happy birthday but what about just a note to say hello!
The whole idea around Isabell’s Umbrella is to rekindle the lost act of handwritten notes by creating stationary that makes you want to share it with others. And don’t you just love her illustrations?
…
Isabell’s Umbrella is giving you the chance to win 2 sets of stationary OR 5 picks of her mini cards.
To win this giveaway YOU must comment on this blog post by July 3rd but ALSO you need to share the last time you wrote a handwritten note to someone.

The last time I wrote a handwritten note was with my girls to the three siblings we have in our family on LDS missions. My girls love to pick out cards or stationary so this month since they are on a Spiderman kick, they chose Spiderman cards and we had a fun time writing them as a family .
The last handwritten note I received was from my mother-in-law. She wrote me a beautiful thank-you note from her visit; it made my day!

The last time I wrote a handwritten note…was to thank my Mom for sending birthday gifts to my two girls.
Um… the last time I wrote a handwritten note…? It’s coming to me.. Okay… um… Does father’s day count, if you helped your kids make their own father’s day cards??

My dear friend who moved to St. George wrote me a handwritten note on yellow legal pad paper and ever since we’ve been writing back on forth via snail mail. I love it!
I wrote three handwritten notes three weeks ago after our quarterly dinner club. I sent notes to the two hostesses, because when two working moms spend their Saturday shopping, cooking, setting table, while organizing husbands and children, the least you can do is spend 5 minutes handwriting a note! Really! At the party, I learned that another in the group has been battling breast cancer & had recently had a double masectomy. She got a handwritten letter because she needs things to hang onto right now. I hope that years from now she can hold that note in her hand and look back on her journey from a cancer-free perspective.
I don’t know about a NOTE but I write letters to my penpal every other week. Does that count? Oh, sometimes I like to color pictures and send them to people who’s addresses I have. I got a handwritten thank you note in return for one those and it had bacon scented air freshener with it. COOL!
The last handwritten note I wrote was a thank-you card from my wedding, two years ago. Unless you count when I send out orders from my shop; I always write a short thank you to the buyer.
I am a person who loves to blog and I make a point of sending a thank you note to the people who make me a winner. It’s so easy to just take the prize, but it pays to show your gratitude.
What lovely stationary products!
Several years ago, our family
hosted a 4-H Swiss Exchange Student!
Heidi was so much fun and we learned
a lot from her. It is now 15 years
later, and we have keep in touch since!
Heidi and her family now live in New
Zealand. I sent her a letter about a month ago. Of course, we do email
each other, also! Many thanks, Cindi

Again, many thanks…..Cindi
I love all the stationary you showcase. I just used some to write to a friend last week who is sick and hasn’t been out in months.
I wrote handwritten notes about a month ago when my friends all gave my son gifts when we visited.
The cards are wonderful and so cute and fun! The last note I wrote was to a friend that gave me some beautiful flowers.
Sadly enough I think the last real note I wrote was a thank you note for a babyshower gift almost 2 years ago!
I always hand write little notes to my best friend who lives about 30 minutes away from me. Life gets in the way of fun and frolicking sometimes, and e-mail is just too impersonal when I want her to know how much I miss her! I sent her a hand-written note about 2 weeks ago
What a great giveaway.
I write handwritten notes nearly every week. Sometimes a quick note to tell my husband I love him or sometimes notes to family or friends just to say hello.
Hooray! I’m a big fan of handwritten mail. I just wrote two letters last week, to twin girls in the MTC (both going to the Philippines, different missions). I just received a reply — win/win!
ps – I saw this at the beehive bazaar as well, and may or may not have purchased a set of cards that may or may not already have been used.
I am writing a handwritten note as soon as I am done with my google reader! It was my grandpa’s birthday last week and like a slacker I am late sending a card! I love giving handwritten mail!!
I wrote a love note on my husband’s napkin with his lunch- does that count?
The last time I wrote a handwritten note was a thank you note for a gift I received, that was about 2 weeks ago.
