Girls Weekend in Cache Valley (Logan, Utah)

July 30th, 2010 in About Me

Our lives are too hectic.  I bet yours are too!  It is hard to run away from work when you are self employed and own your own businesses.  I wanted to just get away for a bit and take the girls with me. My youngest is potty training and gets stressed with change, which in turn stresses me out when I probably should just have more patience…other than that problem it really was the perfect weekend away. I brought along my sister Laura, mother and two girls to go visit our other sister Sarah (and baby Mason in her belly) and her husband Lucas.

Cache Valley is stunning!  Logan has such character, beautiful homes, an awesome Farmers Market and great city events. I started looking at house prices even though I know we can’t move…it really is a beautiful place!

We stayed in the beautiful new Marriott in Logan, Utah and spend lots of time jumping on beds…

Three of us might have attacked the other three with Silly String…no one can be sure…

…then we finished up the night doing at home Glitter Toes.  Thanks, Kami!

After a late night we went to Logan’s beautiful, and I mean BEAUTIFUL Farmer’s Market (and wow that one baked goods table) to shop and get a snack…or two.

The Pioneer Day Parade and the walk down Main Street, checking out the historic homes was a big highlight too.

Can’t leave Logan without some Blue Mint Aggie ice cream cones!

And a trip up the canyon for some Geocaching.

Perfect Girls Weekend away!

P.S. Not sure what came over us in this photo booth…all I know is these pictures are TOO BAD not to post!
