Friday: Play!—Bowling with Carrot Juice Bottles

December 5th, 2008 in Friday: Play!, Crafts

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!

I have tons of the Bolthouse Carrot Juice Bottles and have thinking of something to do with them other than make more I Spy Bottles. This has to be the easiest craft/game we have done together, which is perfect because some days I am not into a lot of work.

Fill up your cleaned plastic bottles with tap water and then add Tempura Paint or food coloring to each.

I glued the top to each bottle but still was not feeling comfortable with knocking big bottles full of colored paint over in my house so decided this will be an outside activity 😉

That’s it! Have fun bowling!

P.S. You know what fantastic idea just occurred to me while writing this post? You can buy glow in the dark tempura paint. How awesome would it be to fill up water bottles with glow in the dark paint/water and go bowling late at night! Perfect “night game” to play with the kiddos.
