What could we possibly be doing to have fun with a bag of really stale marshmallows, toothpicks and water?

We made a bridge by trying out different patterns to see what would hold up as a floating device to run our cars over. We learned about shapes, patterns, how things float and most importantly used up a bag of very stale marshmallows! :)

Remember this project for middle school science classes! The first thing I thought of when I saw the construction was DNA!

You are the coolest mom ever. I am jealous that my kids don’t get you. Oh, we should move close together and maybe some of your coolness will rub off on me? I doubt that but it would still be cool to live near you again.

LOVE this idea. And love that we have the SAME sink and the SAME countertops. We are definitely bomb.

Um… this is a travesty! I love stale marshmallows! When they come fresh out of the bag all soft and gooey = no good!

Too funny. I think most of my grandkids would have just eaten them, stale or not.

I just threw out a bag of stale marshmellows last week! Wish I’d seen this sooner!

I was thinking you could also use them to make Smores in the microwave – you can’t tell they’re stale when they’re warlm and melty!
