Friday:Play!—Dinosaurs

My two year loves dinosaurs and ballet, together. It is quite funny to watch her make the toy dinosaurs twirl and sing soft music 🙂 We also love the Dinosaur Books by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. If you look closely in each illustration the actual name of the dinosaur is printed somewhere. The books themselves are great teaching tools from colors to how to play nicely with friends.

We pick up toy dinosaurs from our local party store, they are very inexpensive but the quality is nicer than the dollar store.

One of our favorite outings is to The Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, UT. The museum contains a children’s discovery room, a fossil lab where you can see paleontologists at work, a wide-screen theater, and a museum store selling practically everything dinosaur related.

Happy Dinosaur Hunting!
