~Earth Week~ Wednesday: Mid Week Ramblings—Guitar Craft

The girls and I saw this fun craft on Nick Jr. showing how to make a guitar out of recycled household items–the perfect craft for Earth Week!

Materials:

  • Tissue Box
  • Paper Towel Roll
  • Paintbrush and Paints
  • Stick or Dried-up Pen
  • Rubber bands

Instructions:

  • Paint your tissue box and paper towel tube with fun, bright colors and let dry. Rub some in your hair and let your mom keep the colors in for a few days just because. 😉

  • Cut a hole for the tube to fit into one side of the tissue box and glue together.

  • Tie rubbers bands around the tissue box and insert an old pen, pencil or stick to tighten them up a bit.Photobucket

    It is the perfect size and weight for little ones. We loved doing this together! 🙂
