~Earth Week~ Wednesday: Mid Week Ramblings—Guitar Craft

The girls and I saw this fun craft on Nick Jr. showing how to make a guitar out of recycled household items–the perfect craft for Earth Week!
Materials:
- Tissue Box
- Paper Towel Roll
- Paintbrush and Paints
- Stick or Dried-up Pen
- Rubber bands
Instructions:
- Paint your tissue box and paper towel tube with fun, bright colors and let dry. Rub some in your hair and let your mom keep the colors in for a few days just because.
- Cut a hole for the tube to fit into one side of the tissue box and glue together.
- Tie rubbers bands around the tissue box and insert an old pen, pencil or stick to tighten them up a bit.
- Have fun playing your reduce/recycle/reuse guitar!
- It is the perfect size and weight for little ones. We loved doing this together!
Nick Jr. really! they are super crafty peeps over there! I wanna try this, but the paint scares me. I am confuesd as to where the pen goes?!
