Chevy Moms Time Out

September 19th, 2010 in About Me

Phew! Remember that last post where I said the morning sickness has been better this time?

Oh ha ha, hee hee, silly me for jinxing myself.

In other less disgusting, more exciting news, I am thrilled to be a part of the Chevy Moms Time Out program.

Chevrolet has asked four bloggers in Utah to participate in a promotional event, called Chevy Moms Time Out, where we each receive a brand spanking new Traverse or Malibu for a month. They also will send us on different “missions” each week to test the car and share our experiences.

The event launched September 14, at the KSL Studio in Salt Lake City, where we met with different great guys from the local dealerships and they showed us the “ins and outs” of our vehicles. They put us on KSL’s Studio 5.

At the point of shooting, things were melting down. I was going to hurl everywhere, Cameron wanted to be held and bounced and Abby just flung herself in the car. You can TOTALLY see my discomfort in the background of the news clip.  But really, that’s what I get for getting knocked up.

Now Now Now, listen up.  In this news clip the president of the Rocky Mountain Chevy Dealers, Chris Hemmersmeier, and the KSL news anchor, Darrin Williams, talk about how these are FAMILY vehicles, vehicles that the moms will love.

Alright guys! Let’s see if this car lives up to that, because when buying something for my family- something as huge as a car- it better live up to the hype!

Be sure to check back to see how I am liking the car and all the missions.  You can also track ALL THE BLOGGERS opinions, missions, etc. on the Chevy Moms Time Out Website.

And….our new car!

Can’t wait to tell you about our first mission tomorrow!

Disclaimer: I have been given a 2011 Chevy Malibu for a full month to review, provided by the Rocky Mountain Chevy Dealers.  As part of the Chevy Moms Time Out program, we are sent on paid “missions”.
