BUBBLES!

April 1st, 2011 in Friday: Play!, Crafts, party time

Every bubble “formula” I have tried has not turned out so well. So I asked my Facebook Fan Page for INeverGrewUp.com if anyone knew of a secret formula for me to try.  And someone did. Finally, we have one that is a winner!

My kids love bubbles but I hate how they are always getting spilled. I cringe at how much I spent to buy them. Even when I pick them up at the dollar store I don’t like how they get dumped! So I save a couple of “containers” with the best bubble wands and just refill them with this mixture.

Bubble Solution:

8 cups of water

8 Tablespoons of Dawn

5 Tablespoons of Glycerin (you can find it in the cake decorating aisle at the craft store)

Pitcher or Clean Milk Tub to store the mixture in.

Just mix all the ingredients together and you can feel less sick when the bubble solution spills all over your driveway. This is a good one.  We tested it a few times and it was the best we have made so far!
