I can’t believe it was over 2 years ago that I put together the first blogger/business review EVER in Utah. (Correct me if I am wrong…but I am pretty sure that is right.) It was for our friends who were opening their own restaurant in Highland, Utah: Blue Lemon. I was so proud to show it off, help them out and finally meet blogging friends in real life.
They opened another location of Blue Lemon in Salt Lake City (downtown) and asked me if I was up for doing a blogger/business review again. Of course!
It’s a beautiful location…I mean, this is what you see when you look out the window while you are eating.
It is GORGEOUS inside but not in a way that would make you feel uncomfortable. You just feel relaxed in a clean, hip, friendly, warm atmosphere. Really, it is perfection.
The set up! You order in line, get your food fast and have it brought to your table, but you don’t have a waiter. You feel like you are eating gourmet, fresh, local, healthy food but for a nice price. This place is perfect for going out as a family, on a date or a night out with your friends. Perfection! The bloggers and I had a blast: Jen of Tatertots & Jello, Stephanie of Stephanie’s Kitchen, Shelley from House of Smiths, Kristina from Pulsipher’s Predilections, Lindsey from The R House, me, Stephanie from The Daily Blarg, Kami from No Biggie, Marie from Make and Takes and Kim from Simply Me. Lastly, the FOOD. Mmm Mmm Mmm, the food. Is it sad I have had everything on the menu? Is it sad that I crave the Pineapple BBQ Beef Brisket and Sweet Potato Fries with the Butternut Squash Soup even when I am DREAMING? My only hang up…gotta have the food hotter! Hey, but I’ll deal with that issue for everything else being perfect. OOOH, and they have pebble ice and Blue Sky Sodas (my favorite). Not to mention, they use biodegradable packing, have lots of vegetarian options, use local ingredients and are so great to the local community.
