Bark, George by Jules Feiffer

We have checked out Bark, George by Jules Feiffer five times now from the library, so I finally put it in my Amazon cart to buy! The girls find this simple story hilarious and the copy we check out has the story on CD as well.

It is about a dog whose mom gets him to practice his “Bark” but he lets out everything BUT a bark.  Instead, all these random animal sounds come out. So they head on over the vet who reaches deep down inside George and pulls out different animals. I love the illustrations of the mom in the background. At one point she just faints.
